On Wednesday November 30, it will be 100 years since the Duke of Connaught “broke the ground” to build Duke of Connaught School. That’s Duke in the background of the photo in our banner at the top of this page — the school is directly behind the Ashbridge house.

An Air Quality Information & Action Night, hosted by Councillor McMahon, will be held on Thursday, Nov. 24 at the S. H. Armstrong Community Centre, 56 Woodfield Rd., at 7:30 p.m. Get the results of the recently-completed Ward 31 and 32 air quality study and find out what you can do to improve the situation.
