YogaThon Fundraiser at Applegrove Community Centre

1 p.m to 3:30 p.m.

Stretch through over 100 ‘Salute to the Sun’ sequences. $20 in pledges, a fee or combination supports Applegrove’s services such as early learning activities, pre- and post-natal nutrition, and therapeutic play. Come out and support our local farmer’s market at Jonathan Ashbridge Park – termed the Leslieville Farmers’ Market – and enjoy some delicious soup! Bring your own bowl, container and spoon.

Voulez-Vous Café

Neighbourhood artist and actor Aron Tager is holding a special mini-retrospective of his work at the Voulez-Vous Café, 1560 Queen St. E., now through Feb. 28. The show will feature some of Aron’s recent work in paper mosaic, as well as examples from his past artistic output. As well as being an artist in the community, Aron is also an accomplished actor, having appeared in many films and television series over his career.
