When I saw this, wondered if it’s because it’s on the west bank of the Ashbridge’s Creek, now buried underground. TTC tweeted earlier today Labour Day that all is back to normal for 506 streetcar.

Large sinkhole opens on Gerrard St. E.

Construction crews are working to repair a large sinkhole that opened on Gerrard St., just east of Greenwood Ave.
The sinkhole is being linked to a water main break that occurred in the area.
